Special projects (Advertorials, product guides and concepts)

In addition to writing two to eight-page features and departments for the magazine industry’s top publications every month, Murphy is also contracted by the same publishers to pull together larger specialty assignments for them as well. From video tapes to advertorial packages… from industry-encompassing gear guides to year-long, magazine article themes… Murphy has created, designed, written and supervised them all.

Many product and gear guide projects—ranging in size from 12 to 36 pages in length—typically require the cooperation of hundreds of companies and manufacturers simultaneously to pull them off in a timely fashion. Being in touch with many of the leading book publishers, sporting gear manufacturers, toy companies, tourist boards and public relations firms may explain why Murphy is hired regularly to weave these complex packages on an annual basis.

Please take a look below to see just a few of Murphy’s past specialty projects (Editors and project managers looking for larger versions of any of these samples should make their requests via e-mail.)
